• Coordinate closely with superintendents, foremen, estimators, vendors, general contractors, and internal operations teams.
• Negotiate pricing, manage material and equipment procurement, and support project planning from preconstruction through closeout.
• Build strong client and field team relationships while mentoring junior project managers and contributing to operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial electrical construction projects from award through completion, including schedules, budgets, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and client communication.
• Prepare estimates, change orders, cost forecasts, and project financial updates to support profitability and successful project delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: $150,000 to $180,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Manage larger commercial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Lead project budgets, schedules, estimating, procurement, change orders, and cost forecasting.
• Coordinate with field leadership, general contractors, vendors, clients, and internal project teams.
• Support project profitability, client satisfaction, and repeat business through strong execution and communication.
• 10+ years of experience managing commercial electrical construction projects.
• Current or recent experience working directly for an electrical contracting company is required.
• Strong estimating and preconstruction experience.
• Experience managing ground-up commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare, education, or public works projects.
• Strong understanding of project financials, contracts, scheduling, procurement, and change order management.
• Proficiency with estimating and project management software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, budget, and schedule performance.
• Excellent communication, leadership, mentoring, organizational, and client relationship skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively with field teams, operations staff, vendors, subcontractors, and general contractors.
• Must have experience beyond tenant improvement project management, with a strong background in larger ground-up commercial electrical projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience mentoring junior project managers or supporting project operations leadership.
• Interest in growing into a senior leadership or executive-level role.
• Background improving project management processes, estimating practices, or field coordination.
• Strong local commercial construction relationships in the Los Angeles market.
