Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a senior/lead role to drive capital project execution in Western CT. You will coordinate contractor work, manage material ordering, write and hold switching orders, and schedule logistics across departments.

This critical position requires strong leadership, safety focus, and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities include budgeting, performance feedback, and ensuring construction readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience required.
• Five to ten years of related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong safety culture and leadership in field operations.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel; ability to learn other IT tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe execution of field activities and set safety expectations.
• Prioritize work and allocate resources to maximize safety and productivity.
• Provide ongoing feedback and conduct performance reviews per bargaining unit contract.
• Apply local union contracts and resolve grievances in a timely manner.
• Coordinate pre-construction reviews and liaise with other utilities and contractors.
• Keep projects within budgetary guidelines and prepare/project records.
• Collaborate with Customer Care, Engineering, Warehousing/Transportation, and Stations Operations.
