Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a seasoned supervisor to lead field operations for large capital projects in Western Connecticut. You will oversee contractor crews, material ordering, switching orders, and scheduling, ensuring safe, on-budget execution across multiple job sites.

The role requires 5–10 years in electric distribution, strong safety focus, and supervisory experience. Travel between CT sites is expected, with on-call rotation and storm duty as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience required.
• Five to ten years of related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid Motor Vehicle License required; DOT Driver’s License preferred.
• Qualified Lineman preferred

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the safe execution of field activities and set safety expectations.
• Prioritize work and allocate resources effectively.
• Provide performance feedback and conduct reviews.
• Ensure proper application of local union contracts and handle grievances.
• Coordinate with other departments and external contractors for project delivery.
• Monitor budget and maintain records of time, expense, and materials.
• Serve as construction liaison with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Prepare weekly/monthly status reports with key KPIs.
