Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a seasoned engineering leader to direct field engineering designers, coordinate multi-team projects, and ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of distribution construction designs. The role emphasizes safety, customer satisfaction, and adherence to regulatory standards.

The position supports a hybrid schedule with in-office and remote work options, requiring travel between MA/CT/NH as needed. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology from an ABET-accredited program preferred.
• Minimum of five years of related technical experience; electric distribution experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry codes/standards related to electric utility.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise field engineering designers, assign work and prioritize tasks.
• Review and approve work for internal/external customer requests, maintenance, and projects.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, safety leadership, and technical guidance to staff.
• Lead cross-functional teams on tri-state initiatives and process improvements.
• Ensure designs are safe to construct and operate, meeting company standards.
