Job summary

Pepco, part of Exelon, seeks a seasoned supervisor to lead craft teams in electric and gas facilities. The role emphasizes safety, reliable service, and cost-conscious operations across the assigned region.

You will mentor crews, drive performance reviews, and coordinate with union stakeholders to implement labor strategies while ensuring regulatory compliance and a strong safety program. This is a field-based leadership role requiring on-site presence.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years internal utility company experience or equivalent external experience.
• 2–3 years internal supervisory experience or high Supervisory Assessment rating.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrated knowledge of operating and construction work practices.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to support and enforce safe work behavior.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct craft employees to achieve safety, reliability and productivity goals.
• Provide leadership to and development of the craft workforce; conduct performance reviews.
• Coordinate emergency response with 24-hour on-call responsibilities.
• Manage departmental budgets and plan resource coverage for business plans.
• Promote a high-performance culture and diversity; act as a change agent for initiatives.
