Job summary

Pepco Holdings, part of Exelon, is seeking a Construction Project Manager to supervise distributed teams and consolidate the delivery of large transmission and distribution projects. You will drive safety, quality, and schedule adherence while communicating with customers and internal stakeholders.

Your role involves coordinating internal and external resources, reviewing designs for constructability, and leading site walks, meetings, and safety briefings to ensure on-time, within-budget project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Project Management concepts and OSHA safety guidelines.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; proven analytical ability.
• Ability to build consensus, communicate effectively, and foster value creation.

Responsibilities

• Manage project construction to meet scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating with stakeholders.
• Oversee internal and external construction resources, review engineering drawings for constructability, and ensure adherence to schedules.
• Serve as primary liaison between Project Management and work groups; lead site walks and meetings with engineering and contract management personnel.
• Monitor safety with weekly observations; assist with RCIs/ACEs; review QA through audits and inspections; coach staff on safety and delivery excellence.
• Attend required training and participate in staff and project meetings; provide updates in UPPM.
• Engage with stakeholders to report progress and address challenges; lead safety briefings and site visits, ensuring adherence to protocols.
