Job summary

Pepco, part of Exelon, seeks a seasoned supervisor to direct craft crews responsible for overhead and underground electric and gas facilities within the DC region. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

You will lead a team of 12-20 direct reports, manage budgets, coordinate emergency response, and implement labor strategies under the collective bargaining agreement. Comprehensive benefits and competitive pay are provided.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years internal utility company experience or equivalent external experience.
• 2-3 years internal supervisory experience or strong supervisory assessment result.
• Valid driver's license.
• Demonstrated knowledge of operating and construction work practices.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to enforce safe work behavior and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct craft employees in construction, operation and maintenance of electric/gas facilities.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance reviews for craft personnel.
• Coordinate emergency response with 24-hour on-call responsibilities.
• Work within departmental budgets and plan resource coverage for business goals.
• Promote a high-performance, diverse, learning culture and act as a change agent.
