Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking an IT Support Helpdesk technician for a short-term, in-office assignment in North Charleston, SC to support election-related operations. The role requires hands-on hardware support and troubleshooting as part of a mission-critical team during a high-visibility election period.

Pay is $18 per hour with overtime available and assignment dates ASAP through November 6. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of IT support, helpdesk or equipment support experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-office IT and equipment support for election-related operations.
• Assist with setup, testing, troubleshooting, and organization of technology equipment.
• Support the IT and equipment team with daily technical tasks and issue resolution.
• Move, stage, and prepare equipment, including lifting up to 35 lbs.
• Remain on your feet for extended periods while supporting equipment and operational needs.
• Work weekends leading up to the election.
