Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking dependable IT Technicians for a temporary public sector assignment in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The role involves desktop support, setup and troubleshooting of election-related equipment, and data entry within a structured, business casual office environment.

Pay is $22.00 per hour for the contract period from Sept 21, 2026 through Nov 10, 2026, with a regular schedule of Mon–Fri, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT/desktop support experience preferred.
• Ability to perform setup, troubleshooting and support for election-related equipment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry.
• Reliable, punctual and able to follow established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop service and technical support for IT operations during the temporary election cycle.
• Assist with setup, movement, troubleshooting, and support of computer hardware and election-related equipment.
• Follow established procedures to complete IT tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Perform data entry, documentation, and basic administrative tasks using Microsoft Office.
• Support operations during regular, extended hours, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Maintain professionalism and attention to detail in a fast-paced public sector environment.
