Job summary

StoryPoint in Farmington Hills, MI is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide personalized assistance for residents in our community. You will support daily living activities, such as bathing, dining, mobility, and personal care, while upholding 1440 care standards and safety protocols.

Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, healthcare experience with the elderly, and preferably CNA/MA certification.

Qualifications

• Preferred: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: CNA or MA certification.
• Healthcare/geriatrics experience with elderly population preferred.
• Ability to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
• Occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide bathing, showering, grooming, dining assistance.
• Provide wheelchair and walking escorts.
• Assist with toileting and light incontinence care.
• Assist with morning and bedtime routines and light housekeeping.
• Record and communicate resident changes to Wellness Leader.
• Administer medications as directed and document care.
• Attend staff meetings and required trainings.
