Job summary

StoryPoint seeks a Caregiver to provide caring, personalized assistance to residents in our community. The role involves helping with daily activities, bathing, dining, and mobility support, while maintaining safety and dignity.

Ideal candidates have healthcare exposure, a CNA/MA credential, and the ability to follow written or spoken instructions. Commitment to 1440 care standards and strong communication with families is important.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous Healthcare, Geriatrics or elderly care experience preferred.
• CNA or MA Certification preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow written/oral/diagram instructions.
• Occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports our culture and 1440 care standards.
• Complete daily/weekly tasks as assigned by Wellness Coordinator.
• Provide compassionate and competent care in routine activities.
• Bathing, grooming, dining assistance, wheelchair/walking escorts.
• Toileting and light incontinence care.
• Assist with morning and bedtime routines and room upkeep.
• Respond to resident call signals and medication assistance.
• Communicate resident changes to Wellness Leader and families when needed.
