Job summary

StoryPoint in Michigan is seeking a Caregiver to provide caring and personalized assistance for residents in our community. You will support daily living activities and help residents maintain dignity and comfort.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, adherence to 1440 care standards, and teamwork with Wellness Leaders. Responsibilities include bathing, dining assistance, mobility support, and documenting care and changes in resident needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Healthcare, geriatrics or elder care experience preferred.
• CNA or MA certification preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow written, oral, or diagram instructions.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports our culture, pillars and 1440 care standards.
• Complete daily/weekly tasks as assigned by the Wellness Coordinator and assist others as needed.
• Provide compassionate and competent care for residents, including bathing, grooming, dining, escorts, toileting and routine care.
• Completes and documents appropriate records, including log book entries; flexible to other shifts.
• Maintains knowledge of safety procedures and company policies; communicates concerns regarding resident care.
