Job summary

StoryPoint Group in East Lansing, MI is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide personalized assistance for our residents in a warm community.

Responsibilities include bathing, dining assistance, mobility support, and light incontinence care; document care in logs; and relay changes to the Wellness Leader and families. The role requires reliable attendance and the ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous healthcare, geriatrics or elderly care experience preferred.
• CNA or MA certification preferred.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions.
• Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports our culture and 1440 care standards.
• Complete daily/weekly tasks as assigned by Wellness Leader and assist others as needed.
• Provide compassionate care including bathing, dining assistance, mobility and personal care.
• Complete and document records, logs and pertinent information.
• Communicate resident changes to Wellness Leader and families; attend staff meetings.
