Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services seeks an experienced EHS Specialist to support environmental, health, safety and industrial hygiene programs at a medical device manufacturing facility in Minnesota. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, risk reduction, and a strong safety culture.

You will lead EHS programs, manage permits, conduct audits, oversee exposure monitoring, and partner with site leadership to drive continuous improvement across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS, science, technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 4–5+ years of EHS experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of U.S. and Minnesota EHS regulations preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Cority/ETQ experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead site EHS programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage environmental permits and regulatory reporting.
• Conduct EHS audits, inspections, and compliance assessments.
• Oversee industrial hygiene and occupational exposure monitoring.
• Support incident investigations, OSHA recordkeeping, and corrective actions.
• Partner with site leadership to improve safety culture and EHS performance.
• Support EHS systems such as Cority and/or ETQ Reliance.
