Job summary

Estée Lauder Companies is seeking an EHS Specialist to support the implementation and maintenance of environmental, health, and safety programs across our manufacturing and distribution sites in Minnesota. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, training, investigations, and data reporting to drive continual safety improvements.

The position requires a 2–4 year EHS background, OSHA/EPA knowledge, and strong collaboration with operations teams.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in an EHS-related role, preferably in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• OSHA 30-hour, First Aid/CPR, or similar (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Support site compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations through inspections, audits, and follow-ups.
• Assist with risk assessments and implementation of corrective actions.
• Maintain and organize safety data sheets, permits, and training records.
• Deliver EHS training sessions for new hires and recurring training as required.
• Participate in incident investigations and help prepare reports and documentation.
• Support sustainability initiatives, such as recycling and energy conservation and assist with data collection and reporting.
• Collaborate with facility, distribution, and operations teams to identify and mitigate EHS risks.
• Participate in internal and external audits and help close findings.
• Assist in preparing EHS performance metrics and dashboards.
• Promote employee engagement in safety programs and continuous improvement.
• Assist with PO generation and support EHS accounts payable.
