Job summary

Kelly Engineering is partnering with a leading global manufacturing company to hire an EHS Specialist. This role supports environmental, health, and safety programs, regulatory compliance, employee training, and continuous improvement at the facility.

The EHS Specialist will implement and maintain site-specific programs, conduct inspections and audits, facilitate training, support incident investigations, and maintain EHS records while collaborating with employees, management, and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of relevant EHS experience; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of EHS regulations, management systems, and risk assessment methods.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain site-specific EHS programs, including confined space, hazard communication, waste management, stormwater, ergonomics, and emergency response.
• Conduct EHS inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
• Facilitate EHS training for new hires and employees.
• Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate EHS records and compliance documentation.
• Analyze EHS performance data and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with employees, management, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.
