Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or two-year technical training preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in health and safety within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage, process, and maintain safety records, ensuring documentation is accurate and accessible.
• Facilitate data entry into safety management platforms (Intelex) to track observations, audits, and training compliance.
• Conduct workplace safety audits and inspections to identify risks and plan corrective actions.
• Assist in safety training sessions, track attendance and ensure compliance education.
• Support incident investigations, compile reports and help identify corrective measures.
• Ensure contractor adherence to safety guidelines during site projects.
• Participate in SRMP elements and committees to support compliance initiatives.
• Distribute PPE and safety materials to ensure proper equipment is available.
• Provide admin support to Safety Manager, including documentation updates and tracking.
• Assist in Behavior-Based Safety initiatives by conducting observations and data tracking.
• Occasional travel to assist with audits, training, and compliance across facilities.
• Fill in for the EHS Manager when needed to ensure safety oversight.
• Adhere to GMPs and food safety/quality standards in all tasks.
