Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; communicate effectively before groups or individuals.
• Proficient working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel; good OSHA understanding.

Responsibilities

• File, track and record training records for the Wakefield locations.
• Create training packets for supervisors and managers.
• Track corrective actions from audits into an Excel database.
• Maintain up-to-date training files for all employees.
• Help with posting safety data around the plant.
• Help develop the Wakefield monthly safety newsletter.
• Provide clerical support for the Safety Manager.
• Provide backup support when the Safety Assistant is out of the office.
