Job summary

Atlantic Casting & Engineering Corp. (ACE) seeks an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead safety programs for metal manufacturing and aluminum casting operations.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership on the production floor and collaboration across management, HR, Engineering, Quality and Maintenance. The successful candidate will drive regulatory compliance with OSHA/EPA and New Jersey requirements, develop safety training, and foster a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and general industry safety requirements.
• Experience conducting safety inspections, incident investigations, and root-cause analyses.
• Experience delivering employee safety training.
• Knowledge of PPE, Hazard Communication, lockout/tagout, and machine guarding.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programs.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and workplace safety standards.
• Conduct routine safety inspections, job hazard analyses, and risk assessments.
• Investigate injuries, incidents, near misses, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Promote safety culture and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
