Job summary

6 Degrees Search seeks an EH&S Manager to lead safety and environmental initiatives at a multi-building aluminum foundry complex. You will report to the Plant Manager and collaborate across operations to improve workplace safety, compliance, and EH&S practices.

Key activities include hazard identification, incident investigations, regulatory reporting, and training. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership and building a strong safety culture within a stable, long-tenured team.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of EH&S experience in heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Foundry experience is a plus.
• Degree preferred, but not required.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Understands manufacturing and production processes.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Able to operate mobile and stationary equipment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and address workplace hazards and recommend improvements.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure OSHA and environmental compliance.
• Manage regulatory reporting, record keeping, and SDS documentation.
• Maintain emergency response plans.
• Lead safety training, including new-hire orientation.
• Partner with all areas of the business to build a strong safety culture.
