Job summary

Snack Innovations Inc. is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to lead safety, security, and environmental programs at our NJ manufacturing facility.

You will develop, implement, and monitor compliance initiatives, train staff, perform risk assessments, and oversee incident investigations to prevent injuries and ensure regulatory alignment. Reporting to plant leadership, you will collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to drive improvements, track KPIs, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or preferred in safety, environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum three years of EHS experience in manufacturing, preferably food/beverage.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA General Industry standards and environmental regulations.
• OSHA 30-hour General Industry training preferred; ASP or CSP a plus.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and trainings.
• Ability to work across plant operations with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs to prevent injuries and property damage.
• Partner with plant management to set safety goals and drive corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain safety, security, and environmental SOPs and records.
• Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Review new equipment/process changes for safety risks; collaborate on controls.
• Lead safety committee meetings and drive continuous improvement.
