Link Snacks in Minnesota is seeking a Safety & Risk Manager to administer and continuously improve the company’s environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards while promoting a culture of safety.

You will lead the development of safety initiatives, maintain logs and records, and train staff across the plant. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and focuses on safe, compliant operations with a strong Total Rewards package.

Qualifikationen

• Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• 1+ year related experience and/or training.
• AED, First-Aid/CPR, OSHA 30, Forklift Trainer Certification is a plus.
• Experience in the Food industry preferred.

Aufgaben

• Administers and improves environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure OSHA compliance.
• Develops and implements safety programs (lockout/tagout, machine guarding, fire protection) and other OSHA compliance measures.
• Advises on safety protocols to ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, local/state/federal agencies).
• Maintains OSHA logs and other regulatory documentation.
• Conducts routine safety inspections and hazard assessments.
• Facilitates safety committee meetings and plant safety activities.
• Coordinates safety training and tracks completion; manages PPE programs.
• Investigates accidents and near-misses; identifies root causes and corrective actions.
• Collaborates with Safety Manager, Risk Management, and HR on injuries and workers' compensation.
