Job summary

Amcor in Evansville, IN is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Leader to develop and administer EHS programs that align with regulatory requirements and Amcor policies. You will foster awareness, lead the EHS Management System, and partner with plant Leadership to minimize liability and environmental impact.

You will lead the site EHS committee, coordinate inspections, train staff, and ensure continual improvement through performance metrics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Bachelor's degree in EHS, engineering or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead or facilitate the site EHS safety committee.
• Serve as a member of the plant Leadership Team.
• Develop and enhance the Amcor EHS Management System at the facility.
• Identify and implement EHS best practices.
• Set facility goals and drive performance improvements.
• Coordinate EHS inspections and regulatory compliance.
• Provide training on EHS regulations to staff.
• Prepare reports and manage incident investigations.
