Job summary

Exemplar Global is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to plan, direct, and monitor compliance with EPA, DNR, and OSHA standards across all facilities in Wisconsin. You will conduct audits, ensure proper hazardous waste handling, and develop safety and environmental policies.

This role partners with each site to train personnel in safety, emergency procedures, and regulatory requirements; investigate accidents; and oversee SDS updates, inspections, and incident reporting.

Qualifications

• College degree in safety and environmental studies or related engineering field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in plant safety or environmental duties.
• Familiar with evaluation, analysis and developing programs and control techniques.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Self-starter, action-oriented, hands-on manager.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate EPA/DNR/OSHA compliance across facilities.
• Lead safety audits and reporting.
• Train personnel in safety and emergency procedures.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and maintain compliance.
• Inspect plant equipment, safety systems, and hazardous waste controls.
• Analyze incident data to identify trends and corrective actions.
• Support capital machinery to meet safety/environmental standards.
• Oversee Safety Data Sheets and labeling requirements.
