Job summary

Actus Nutrition in Wisconsin is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to lead EHS programs across Adell and New Holstein facilities. You will ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DNR regulations, develop air and water permit strategies, and drive safety culture.

The role oversees audits, incident investigations, training programs, workers' comp processes, and corrective actions, partnering with site leaders to maintain a safe, compliant workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health, and Occupational Safety or related field.
• Professional certifications such as ASP, CSP, or CIH preferred.
• 5–7 years of manufacturing EHS experience.
• Strong communication, organization, and computer skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DNR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and health standards.
• Develop air and water permit compliance plans.
• Manage WPDES permits and PSM programs in collaboration with site leaders.
• Lead EHS training programs and safety committee initiatives monthly.
• Investigate injuries, environmental releases, and near misses; report promptly.
• Oversee workers' compensation claims and return-to-work instructions.
• Coordinate audits with regulators and corporate EHS teams.
• Maintain EHS records and legal documents.
