Job summary

Wealth Recruitment, LLC is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead site environmental, health and safety programs at a Wisconsin manufacturing site. You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, HR, Quality and Materials Management to reduce risk and drive continuous improvement in EHS performance.

Base salary ranges from $110,000 to $120,000 per year, with a performance bonus of up to 16% and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing environments with EHS responsibility.
• Desirable: plastics/auto manufacturing exposure.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements and environmental regulations.
• Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 preferred.
• Auditing, incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and EHS training experience.
• Strong communication, leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all site EHS programs, policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manage EHS systems, including alignment with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and job hazard analyses.
• Lead accident, injury, environmental incident, and near-miss investigations, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver EHS training for employees, managers, and contractors.
• Manage environmental programs covering waste, air emissions, chemicals, spill prevention, and water discharge.
• Coordinate emergency response plans, drills, and preparedness activities.
• Maintain EHS permits, records, reports, and regulatory documentation.
• Track EHS metrics and trends to identify risks and improve performance.
• Partner with Engineering and Operations on new equipment, process changes, and capital projects.
• Support regulatory inspections, customer assessments, insurance audits, and corporate EHS reviews.
• Promote employee engagement and a strong culture of safety, accountability, and environmental responsibility.
