Job summary

Cree LED, a Penguin Solutions brand, is seeking an entry-level Operations Support Technician (EHS and Logistics) at its Durham, NC campus. The role blends safety, shipping, and warehouse tasks in a Monday–Friday onsite schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional on-call duties to address urgent safety and packing needs.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role in EHS and logistics responsibilities.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle drums with appropriate equipment.
• On-site work at Durham, NC campus with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized warehouse using 5S methods to keep workspace clean and efficient.
• Process domestic and international shipments using FedEx software with correct labeling and documentation.
• Execute SAP transactions including Goods Receipts, STOs, Purchase Orders, and Service Confirmations.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for timely receipt and staging of incoming materials.
• Follow guidelines for packaging and labeling hazardous materials for land and air shipments.
• Safely move industrial drums and heavy containers using pallet jacks and dollies.
