Job summary

Siemens is seeking an Employee Health & Safety Operator based in Knightdale, NC, reporting to the EHS Manager. The role supports cross-functional teams to improve site EHS performance and compliance.

Responsibilities include conducting safety trainings, maintaining records, and guiding environmental, health, and safety programs. Relocation assistance is available and the position is full-time.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years’ experience in a technical EHS role focusing on Safety and Environmental Compliance.
• Proven understanding of EPA and OSHA regulations and industry EHS standards.
• Ability to recognize, evaluate, and recommend controls for workplace hazards.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and leading EHS targets and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for a Zero Harm safety culture protecting Siemens employees, subcontractors and customers.
• Regularly conduct safety training for Siemens employees and maintain safety training database.
• Improve EHS awareness and safe work practices across employee and management levels.
• Analyze and maintain EHS data and prepare regulatory compliance reporting.
• Manage workers’ compensation claims and return-to-work programs.
• Provide technical guidance on environmental, health and safety issues and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in audits and implement corrective actions.
• Support EHS incident investigations and maintain records.
• Collaborate with the site EHS Manager for direct support.
• Maintain knowledge of regulations and standards at regional/local level.
