Job summary

Cree LED, a Penguin Solutions brand, is seeking an entry-level Operations Support Technician (EHS and Logistics) at our Durham, NC campus. The role focuses on safe material handling, warehouse operations, and logistics coordination in a hybrid environment with standard 8:00 am–5:00 pm hours and occasional on-call shifts.

You will assist with transport of goods, SAP transactions, hazardous materials compliance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable and punctual to support emergency response and shipping deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory and documentation.
• Effective communication and teamwork across Planning, Procurement, and R&D.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move 55-gallon drums using proper equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an organized warehouse using 5S standards.
• Process domestic and international shipments with accurate labeling and documentation.
• Execute SAP transactions including Goods Receipts and STOs.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for timely receipt and staging of materials.
• Follow guidelines for packaging and labeling hazardous materials by land and air.
