Siemens Mobility is offering an Environmental Health & Safety Intern position based in Raleigh, NC. The role provides hands-on experience supporting power distribution-related safety programs within a collaborative, impact-driven environment.

The internship begins in May or June 2027, lasts 12 weeks, and is designed for students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in EHS or related fields. Local candidates only, with on-site work expected.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field and nearing completion.
• Knowledge of safety or environmental regulations and compliance.
• Ability to work on-site full-time (40 hours/week) for 12-week internship.
• Located within 50 miles of Raleigh, NC; no relocation support.

Responsibilities

• Support improvements to job safety analyses (JSAs) and risk assessments.
• Assist with incident reviews, near misses, and safety suggestions.
• Support hazardous materials and waste management activities.
• Conduct EHS onboarding training for new hires and support safety culture initiatives.
• Assist with ISO management systems, 6S initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
