Job summary

McNish LLC, headquartered in Aurora, Illinois, is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator to develop and maintain safety programs across our manufacturing operations. You will ensure regulatory compliance, promote a safety culture, and drive continuous improvement.

You will lead training, investigate incidents, manage OSHA/EPA records, coordinate workers' compensation, and support environmental permitting and waste management.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of manufacturing safety practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to lead initiatives and influence employees at all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Associate's Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Business, or related field required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain workplace health and safety programs.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Lead safety committee meetings and track actions.
• Coordinate OSHA/EPA compliance and documentation.
• Deliver safety training and toolbox talks.
• Investigate injuries and determine root causes.
• Coordinate workers' compensation claims.
• Assist with environmental permits, reporting and compliance.
