Job summary

LM Manufacturing is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental Specialist to lead the EHS function within the division. Under the direction of the HR Manager, you will develop and drive safety and environmental programs, lead committees, and ensure regulatory compliance in a manufacturing setting.

You will oversee ergonomic assessments, incident investigations, and training, while maintaining records and reporting to support continuous improvement and a safe workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Ergonomics, Industrial Hygiene or related field.
• Minimum of two years' safety, ergonomic and environmental experience in manufacturing.
• OSHA 10 certificate preferred; OSHA 30 certificate a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and maintains health, safety, ergonomic and environmental programs and databases.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA, MIOSHA, ANSI, NFPA, EPA, EGLE and other regulations.
• Leads safety committees, conducts ergonomic assessments and investigates incidents.
• Administers first aid and acts as a first responder during emergencies.
• Maintains training records and supports ongoing EHS training materials.
• Reviews and updates policies to improve safety performance and regulatory compliance.
