Job summary

EnerSys is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator to support the MDC and NPC operations. You will execute daily EHS activities, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and help foster a safety‑minded culture across the site.

The role partners with site leadership to drive injury prevention, training, and continuous improvement, maintaining records, PPE programs, and incident response readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of EHS, industrial safety, or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Certifications such as OHST/ASP/CSP/CHMM desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Develop, deliver, and coordinate EHS training programs.
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Maintain PPE programs, SDS systems, and regulatory records.
• Collaborate with operations leadership and health providers.
