Job summary

Latham, The Pool Company seeks an EHS Specialist to own the Environmental, Health, and Safety program at the facility level. You will partner with operations and HR to ensure regulatory compliance, safe practices, and accurate recordkeeping.

You’ll lead training, audits, and reporting, while collaborating with the site leadership team to drive continuous improvement and ensure a safe working environment across the plant.

Qualifications

• BS in Safety/Environmental Science or related field required.
• 2 years manufacturing experience required.
• Compliance management in a manufacturing facility under a Title V Air Permit.
• Managing Respiratory Protection and Hearing Conservation Programs.
• Familiarity with Powered Industrial Truck safety and NFPA70E.
• Strong communication and training skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with site team to implement the EHS Program and policies.
• Audit effectiveness of the site EHS program through audits.
• Provide EHS training to all site personnel.
• Maintain safety and environmental records.
• Maintain workers compensation files and investigate incidents.
• Generate internal and external reports as required.
• Execute site inspection program respecting safety and environmental regulations.
• Assist inspectors from state, federal, and local agencies, and respond to inquiries.
• Serve as local expert on EHS requirements with site leadership.
• Support multiple facilities or corporate/nationwide EHS projects.

Education

BS in Safety/Environmental Science or related field

2 years manufacturing experience

Experience with Title V Air Permit
