Job summary

RXinsider LTD. is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) Manager to lead the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of our facility's safety and environmental programs.

You will ensure compliance with OSHA/EPA and local regulations, lead risk assessments, trainings, incidents investigations, and drive a proactive safety culture across all levels of the organization. Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and leadership to minimize EH&S risks

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Progressive experience in environmental, health, and safety management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing safety and environmental programs.
  • Experience with incident investigation, root-cause analysis, risk assessment, and corrective action processes.
  • Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with accountability.
  • Experience with regulatory inspections, audits, permitting, and compliance reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the facility's environmental, health, and safety programs.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, state, and local regulations.
  • Establish policies, procedures, standards, and training programs to prevent injuries and illnesses.
  • Conduct facility inspections, risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and safety audits.
  • Investigate incidents and environmental events; identify root causes and corrective actions.
  • Manage environmental programs, permits, reporting, inspections, and compliance activities.
  • Maintain EH&S records and regulatory reporting.
  • Develop and deliver safety and environmental training for employees and leaders.
  • Partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, HR, and leadership to mitigate EH&S risks.
  • Lead initiatives on employee engagement, hazard recognition, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor EH&S metrics and provide regular leadership reporting.
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness and response programs and drills.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) Manager to lead and manage all environmental, health, and safety programs for our manufacturing facility. This position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive programs that promote a safe and environmentally responsible workplace while ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

The EH&S Manager will serve as the primary resource and leader for environmental and safety matters across the facility. This individual will work collaboratively with all levels of the organization to build a strong safety culture, identify and mitigate risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in EH&S performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the facility's environmental, health, and safety programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable OSHA, EPA, state, and local environmental and safety regulations.
  • Establish and maintain policies, procedures, standards, and training programs designed to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections, risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and safety audits.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses, and environmental events; identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Manage required environmental programs, permits, reporting, inspections, and compliance activities.
  • Maintain accurate EH&S records, documentation, and regulatory reporting.
  • Develop and deliver safety and environmental training for employees, supervisors, and management.
  • Partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, human resources, and leadership to identify and resolve EH&S risks.
  • Lead initiatives focused on employee engagement, hazard recognition, behavioral safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor facility performance through appropriate EH&S metrics and provide regular reporting to leadership.
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness and response programs, including drills and response procedures.
  • Manage relationships with regulatory agencies, consultants, contractors, and other external resources as needed.
  • Support the development of annual EH&S objectives, budgets, and improvement plans.
  • Promote a proactive culture in which every employee understands and accepts responsibility for workplace safety and environmental stewardship.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certification such as CSP, ASP, CIH, CHMM, or other relevant EH&S certification.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with industrial equipment and processes.
  • Experience leading safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of environmental management systems and safety management systems.
