Job summary

DPR Construction in Richmond, VA seeks a Senior EHS Manager to lead environmental, health and safety programs for Self-Perform Work across projects. You will partner with SPW leadership to implement training, drive compliance and reduce risk on site.

You will manage field EHS professionals, review JHAs, audits and incident investigations, and analyze performance metrics to drive continuous improvement across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety, environmental health, engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in construction EHS.
• Experience supervising EHS staff or leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Manages implementation of EHS programs and initiatives supporting SPW operations in alignment with regional and enterprise standards.
• Oversees EHS professionals supporting SPW crews; provides direction, coaching, and performance management.
• Partners with SPW superintendents, foremen, and operations leaders to integrate EHS planning into daily and look-ahead work activities.
• Reviews risk assessments, audits, and JHAs to support safe work practices and regulatory compliance.
• Manages incident investigations and corrective action tracking; supports communication of lessons learned.
• Monitors and analyzes EHS performance metrics to identify trends and recommend risk mitigation actions.
• Coordinates SPW EHS training, onboarding, and competency verification for craft and field leadership.
