Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) leader to support Self-Perform Work (SPW) across projects. You will manage EHS programs, lead field professionals, and ensure regulatory compliance while driving continuous safety improvements.

You will partner with SPW leaders and operations to embed safety into planning, analyze EHS data, and coordinate training and onboarding for craft leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental health, engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 6–8 years of construction EHS experience, including self-perform crews.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety training and First Aid/CPR certification.
• CHST or CSP certification preferred; STSC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the EHS program implementation for Self-Perform Work (SPW) operations on assigned projects/
• Supervise SPW EHS staff and provide coaching and performance feedback
• Collaborate with SPW superintendents and operations leaders to integrate EHS planning into daily work
• Review risk assessments, audits, and JHAs to ensure safe work and regulatory compliance
• Do incident investigations and track corrective actions; share lessons learned
• Analyze EHS metrics to identify trends and drive risk mitigation
• Coordinate SPW EHS training, onboarding, and competency verification
