Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a senior EHS leader to guide Environmental, Health, and Safety efforts for Self-Perform Work across assigned projects. You will partner with SPW operations leadership to implement programs, training, and compliance to reduce risk and protect workers.

You will oversee field EHS professionals, uphold safety standards across SPW activities, analyze performance data for continuous improvement, and coordinate training for craft and field leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety, environmental health, engineering, construction management, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages implementation of EHS programs and initiatives supporting SPW operations in alignment with regional and enterprise standards.
• Oversees EHS professionals supporting SPW crews; provides direction, coaching, and performance management.
• Partners with SPW superintendents, foremen, and operations leaders to integrate EHS planning into daily and look-ahead work activities.
• Reviews risk assessments, audits, and job hazard analyses (JHAs) to support safe work practices and regulatory compliance.
• Manages incident investigations and corrective action tracking; supports communication of lessons learned.
• Monitors and analyzes EHS performance metrics to identify trends and recommend risk mitigation actions.
• Coordinates SPW EHS training, onboarding, and competency verification for craft and field leadership.
