Job summary

MCC is seeking an EHS Plant Coordinator to drive safety, health and environmental programs at its Ohio manufacturing sites. You will promote a zero-incident culture, oversee audits and training, and collaborate with corporate and plant management to strengthen safety systems.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in EHS or related field with 3–5 years in manufacturing safety, OSHA knowledge, and CSP/ASP certification or equivalent. Proficiency with Excel/PowerPoint/Word and Velocity is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in EHS or related field required.
• 3–5 years’ experience in manufacturing safety preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety programs.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• BRC and ISO 9001 experience beneficial.
• CSP or ASP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive MCC Safety Culture and Zero-incident mindset.
• Support corporate and plant level EHS programs including audits, corrective actions, training, regulatory compliance and injury prevention.
• Develop safety expertise including job safety analyses, risk assessments, machine safeguarding, ergonomics and employee training.
• Communicate and reinforce company safety requirements and support safety behaviors.
• Manage and maintain the Velocity safety system for facilities under responsibility.
• Ensure regulatory assessments and compliance with local and national EHS requirements.
• Oversee safety and sustainability activities (industrial hygiene, emergency management, environmental protection, occupational safety).
• Coordinate required training for all plant employees and maintain records for reporting.
