Job summary

Centor in Ohio seeks an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to lead and manage all EH&S programs for our manufacturing facility. This role will develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive programs that promote a safe and environmentally responsible workplace while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

The EH&S Manager will lead across the organization to build a strong safety culture, identify risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous EH&S

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EH&S or related field preferred.
• Progressive experience in EH&S management within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA and applicable federal/state/local regulations.
• Experience with incident investigations, root-cause analysis and risk assessment.
• Superior communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the facility's EH&S programs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, state and local regulations.
• Establish and maintain policies, procedures, standards, and training for safety and environmental practices.
• Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Investigate incidents and environmental events; identify causes and corrective actions.
• Manage environmental programs, permits, reporting, inspections, and compliance activities.
• Maintain EH&S records and regulatory reporting.
• Develop and deliver safety and environmental training for employees and managers.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering and HR to mitigate EH&S risks.
• Lead initiatives on employee engagement, hazard recognition, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor EH&S metrics and report performance to leadership.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and response activities.
