Job summary

MCC is seeking an EHS Plant Coordinator to lead environmental, health and safety programs across the facility. The role focuses on promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance and driving continuous improvement in safety practices.

The successful candidate will coordinate audits, training and records, manage the Velocity safety system, and collaborate with leadership to support environmental and safety initiatives. A Bachelor’s degree in EHS and OSHA familiarity are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in EHS or related field desired.
• 3–5 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry desired.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety programs.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• BRC and ISO 9001 experience.
• CSP or ASP certification.
• Proactive time management across multiple projects.
• Ability to improve business systems and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Drive MCC safety culture and zero-incident mindset.
• Support environmental, health and safety programs, audits, training and regulatory compliance.
• Develop safety expertise: job safety analyses, risk assessments, machine safeguarding, ergonomics and training.
• Communicate and reinforce safety requirements and behaviors.
• Maintain the Velocity safety system for facilities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and environmental/ safety requirements.
• Coordinate required training for all plant employees.
• Recordkeeping and reporting of safety and sustainability metrics.
• Participate in plant and corporate safety audits.
• Lead site safety committees and continuous improvement activities.
