Job summary

CVS Health’s Omnicare division is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Associate Manager to lead environmental, health, safety, and regulatory programs across pharmacy, distribution, and corporate operations. You will partner with site leadership to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

The role oversees hazardous waste and pharma waste management, incident investigations, CAPAs, and training initiatives,

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of environmental, health, and safety experience in a regulated industry.
• 2+ years of experience with OSHA and EPA.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% within the continental United States.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance: ensure OSHA/EPA/DOT and state/local regs are met and inspections supported.
• Pharmaceutical & Hazardous Waste Management: oversee hazardous/pharma waste and documentation.
• Environmental Programs: manage spill prevention, contingency planning, and reporting.
• Safety & Risk Management: conduct safety audits, investigations, and CAPAs.
• Training & Employee Engagement: deliver EHS training and promote safety culture.
