Job summary

CVS Health’s Omnicare division seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Associate Manager to lead environmental, health, safety and regulatory programs across pharmacy, distribution and operations. The role partners with site leadership to assure compliance with federal, state and local requirements while fostering safety culture and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of environment, health and safety experience in a regulated industry.
• 2+ years of experience working with OSHA and EPA.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time within the continental United States.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory compliance: ensure OSHA, EPA, DOT and state/local regs are followed and monitored.
• Pharmaceutical & hazardous waste: oversee hazardous, pharmaceutical, controlled-substance and sharps waste programs.
• Environmental programs: manage spill prevention, contingency planning, emergency response, and reporting activities.
• Safety & risk management: conduct facility safety checks, investigations and CAPA closure.
• Training & engagement: develop EHS training and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Emergency preparedness: maintain response plans and coordinate weather or environmental incident response.
