CVS Health is hiring an Environmental Health & Safety Associate Manager to lead regulatory compliance and waste management across pharmacy, distribution, and corporate operations. The role partners with site leadership to build a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years in EHS within a regulated setting, strong OSHA/EPA experience, and the ability to travel up to 25% within the continental U.S.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of environmental, health, and safety experience in a regulated industry, including experience with environmental compliance, waste management, regulatory reporting, audits, and/or investigations.
• 2+ years of experience working with OSHA and EPA.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time within the continental United States.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance: ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT and state/local regs; monitor regulatory changes; support inspections and audits; manage permits and reporting.
• Pharmaceutical & Hazardous Waste Management: oversee hazardous/pharmaceutical waste and regulated medical waste programs; manage vendor activities and reporting.
• Environmental Programs: manage spill prevention, contingency planning, emergency response, and environmental reporting; support Tier II and permit compliance.
• Safety & Risk Management: conduct safety audits, incident investigations, CAPAs, and track EHS performance metrics.
• Training & Employee Engagement: develop EHS training programs and ensure completion of compliance training; foster safety culture.
• Emergency Preparedness: maintain emergency response and business continuity programs; coordinate preparedness activities.
