The position requires 3–5 years in EHS, 2+ years with OSHA/EPA, and up to 25% travel within the continental US. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of environmental, health, and safety experience in a regulated industry
• 2+ years of experience working with OSHA and EPA
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time within the continental United States

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental compliance programs across pharmacy, repackaging, distribution, and corporate operations.
• Oversee hazardous waste, pharmaceutical waste, and regulated medical waste management programs.
• Coordinate waste vendor activities, manifests, exception reporting, and compliance documentation.
• Develop and implement environmental sustainability and waste-reduction initiatives.
• Conduct facility inspections, safety audits, hazard assessments, and CAPA closures.
• Lead incident, injury, near miss, spill, and environmental release investigations.
• Track and report EHS performance metrics to leadership.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs and promote a proactive safety culture.
