Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Associate Manager to lead environmental, health, safety, and regulatory compliance programs across pharmacy, repackaging, distribution, and corporate operations. This role acts as an SME for waste management, safety, and regulatory reporting in a transforming organization.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of environmental, health, and safety experience in a regulated industry, including experience with environmental compliance, waste management, regulatory reporting, audits, and/or investigations.
• 2+ years of experience working with OSHA and EPA.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time within the continental United States.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable state and local regulations.
• Pharmaceutical & Hazardous Waste Management: Oversee hazardous waste, pharmaceutical waste, controlled substance waste, regulated medical waste, and sharps management programs.
• Environmental Programs: Manage environmental compliance programs, spill prevention, contingency planning, emergency response, and environmental reporting.
• Safety & Risk Management: Conduct facility inspections, safety audits, hazard assessments, and CAPA completion.
• Training & Employee Engagement: Develop and deliver EHS training programs and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Emergency Preparedness: Maintain emergency response, spill response, and business continuity programs.
