Job summary

Avera Health is seeking an Informatics Trainer to provide frontline training and workflow coaching for our EHR and assigned applications. You will deliver instructor-led and virtual training, reinforce standard workflows, and support user readiness during implementations, upgrades, and optimization efforts.

Collaborating with principal trainers, informatics analysts, and frontline staff, you will help users build proficiency and confidence, while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of applications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related area.
• At least one year of EHR training, application support, healthcare IT, or related experience.
• Experience delivering instructor-led, small group, or one-on-one training in healthcare or technology settings.
• Epic certification for assigned application may be required or willingness to obtain within a set timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Deliver EHR application training and coaching to end users using approved curricula and standards.
• Support personalization and efficiency sessions for new and existing users.
• Provide at-the-elbow application support during implementations, upgrades, and optimization efforts.
• Deliver refresher and optimization training to improve proficiency and adoption.
• Assist super users and end users with workflow questions and escalate issues as needed.
