Job summary

Avera Health is hiring an EHR Application Principal Trainer to design, develop, validate, and deliver role-based training for EHR and healthcare systems. You’ll work with informatics, operations, and learning teams to ensure curriculum reflects configurations and releases.

Requires a related Bachelor's, 3+ years in EHR training, and Epic Principal Trainer certification (or willingness to obtain). Be part of a multidisciplinary team moving health forward.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in related area.
3+ years of related experience in EHR training or instructional design.
Epic Principal Trainer certification or willingness to obtain within timeframe.
Experience developing role-based training materials and scenarios.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, maintain, and improve role-based training curriculum for EHR apps.
Deliver instructor-led, virtual, or one-on-one training to end users and staff.
Collaborate with informatics, operations, and learning teams on curriculum alignment.
Build and test training environments and materials for releases and updates.
Evaluate training effectiveness and implement continuous improvements.
