Job summary

Avera is seeking an Informatics Trainer to deliver frontline EHR training and workflow coaching across clinical and operational teams. You will provide instructor-led, one-on-one, virtual, and group sessions using approved curricula and standards.

You will partner with informatics analysts, trainers, providers, and frontline staff to ensure user readiness, reinforce standard workflows, and support changes during implementations and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in related area or equivalent experience.
• Experience in EHR training, application support, or healthcare IT.
• Ability to deliver instructor-led, group, and virtual training.
• Epic certification may be required or pursued within an established time frame.

Responsibilities

• Deliver EHR application training and coaching to end users.
• Support personalization sessions and workflow efficiency.
• Provide at-the-elbow training during implementations and upgrades.
• Deliver refresher training and enable workflow adoption.
• Assist super users and end users with questions and issues.
• Identify training gaps and opportunities for process improvement.
• Validate training materials and test readiness before delivery.
• Document learner feedback and report training needs.
