Job summary

The Informatics Trainer at Avera Health provides frontline application training, workflow coaching, and end-user support to promote effective adoption of our electronic health record and related applications. You will deliver approved curriculum, reinforce standard workflows, and assist users before, during, and after implementations, upgrades, or workflow changes.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with at least one year of EHR training experience, and Epic

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in related area.
• At least 1 year of related experience in EHR training or application support.
• Experience delivering instructor-led training (in-person or virtual).
• Epic certification for assigned application may be required or willingness to obtain within established time frame.
• Additional Epic certification or related training experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led, one-on-one, virtual, and small group EHR training.
• Coach clinicians on workflow adoption and system use.
• Provide at-the-elbow support during go-lives and upgrades.
• Validate training materials and update content as needed.
• Document learner feedback and identify gaps for improvement.
• Coordinate with trainers and informatics teams.
